SP Performance Diamond Slotted Brake Rotors perform like the slotted rotors,
with the added bonus of the dimples. The slots on the brake rotor surface are
used to expel the brake dust away from your braking surface and wheels, keeping
the braking surface cooler. The Dimples, or Diamonds, on the surface of the
rotor keep the braking surface cool, without the risk of forming stress cracks
like the cross drilled rotors. All SP Performance Brake rotors are machine
balanced and disc ground and meet OEM specification. The Diamond Slotted Brake
rotors are direct replacements to your existing brake rotors and require no
brake system modifications. All Slotted brake rotors come with your choice of
coating for rust prevention.
Directional Curved Slots: Helps increase brake pad bite, improves air circulation and cooling. The slots also vent gasses, reduce brake fade and stop brake hydroplaning in wet weather, reducing stopping distances.
Diamond Slots: Creates a recess to dampen expanding gasses that push against the brake pads and gives the rotors a very unique look.
Corrosion Resistant Finish: Corrosion resistant finishes give a clean look behind your wheels while preventing rust, corrosion and oxidation. Available in a Bright Silver Zinc Plating, Black Zinc Plating or Gray ZRC Paint.
